Our attorneys, Brad Bayliff and Susan Gentz of Casey, Gentz & Magness, worked long hours and performed brilliantly. Thanks to their hard work, we stand on the brink of winning this case.  Preserve Our San Saba Environment (POSSE) is a voluntary group of landowners that has organized on behalf of other citizens to encourage environmentally responsible development within San Saba County and the surrounding Hill Country of Texas.

We are currently fighting to prevent the construction of a 345 kV transmission line through San Saba County and across the wild Colorado River. This transmission line would cross private properties in a 160 foot easement that would be acquired from the property owner through exercise of eminent domain and the legal condemnation process. The effect on property values alone is devastating, but the chilling effect on other economic activities in our County is considerable as well, not to mention the environmental impacts at the Colorado River crossings and all points in-between.

We would like to thank our attorneys, Brad Bayliff and Susan Gentz - Casey, Gentz & Magness LLP - for their hard work and dedication to our case.  Check out attorney Brad Bayliff's blog about high-power transmission lines at http://blog.texaspowerlines.com.
